Jesus Christ said, “It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer.”

How to Be Victorious in Spiritual Warfare, Part 55 (Revive the Family, Revive the Church, Awaken the Nation, O Lord #107)

Elton Trueblood said, “Evangelism is not a professional job for a few trained men, but is instead the unrelenting responsibility of every person who belongs to the company of Jesus.”

Leonard Ravenhill said, “God is looking for people who will live recklessly for Him — not concerned with public opinion or preacher’s opinions, but becoming a love slave of Jesus Christ.”

In their book, The Ten Greatest Revivals Ever, Elmer Towns and Douglas Porter share with us regarding the 1904 Revival: “The European continent also experienced an unusual movement of God in response to news of the Welsh Revival. The awakening begun under the ministry of evangelist Albert Lunde in Norway was later described by Norwegian Bishop Berggrav as “the greatest revival of his experience.” That revival spread through Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. Lutherans described the revival as “the greatest movement of the Spirit since the Vikings were evangelized.” Germany, France, and other European nations were also touched.”

Today, we are going to continue looking at the use of the word “watch” throughout Scripture in the Old Testament and the New Testament.

We are again looking at 2 Timothy 4:5 which reads, “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”
